We set the filter life at 30,000 hours and the (recommended) time for replacement at four years or longer.*
We have proven results with rental equipment for tunnel construction, for which the general guideline for filter replacement is 10 years.

*This will differ depending on the characteristics of the dust and the usage situation.

Compact but large surface area pleated filters

Our dust collectors have pleated filters as standard. The stiff filter material is folded into pleats and formed into a cylindrical shape to make a compact filter.
This gives the filter a smaller volume but larger surface area than general bag filters.

With the large surface area but compact design of our filters, the number of filters required is fewer than with general bag filters, which means that the dust collector is 1/5 the body size and 1/3 the weight of bag-filter models. The area required for installation is therefore greatly reduced.

The upper and lower extremes of the filter are firmly attached using metal parts.
This makes the filter resistant to the strong impact applied during the filter cleaning and prevents breakage and opening up of the filter holes. Also, the filters come in various sizes, from several square meters to a maximum 41.6 m2, and the filter material and filter dimensions can be set freely.
The filters can respond to the various requirements of customers.

The high levels of cleanliness from our standard filters

0.1 mg/m3 indicates that there is one 10,000th of a gram of particles in a one cubic meter space.

The cleanliness of air leaving our standard filters is 0.1 mg/m3 or below, achieving a high cleanliness level with the same particulate content as in the general atmosphere.

Furthermore, with PTFE filters for fine particles, air cleanliness at 0.01 mg/m3 or below is achieved, the same level as in clean rooms. These products have been adopted for use in nuclear power, space, biotechnology and precision electronics applications.

We have a wide variety of filter materials available to suit the intended usage situation.

A ratio of 1:1 for the ratio of the air volume to process to the filter surface area is standard for our products.

The large surface area of the filter means that the filtering speed is only 0.017 m/sec. This means that there is little pressure loss in operation and the fan power (electricity consumption) operating noise can be greatly suppressed.

However, depending upon the amount and characteristics of the particles, it is sometimes better to increase the filter surface area.

The most appropriate filter material and surface area are set after investigating the customer's usage situation, in order to achieve optimal surface filtering.

The automatic cleaning using a supersonic impulse prevents filter clogging! There is no burden on the filter, making the filter longer-lasting.

To remove dust attached to the filters, a supersonic impulse (impact wave) generated by the expulsion of compressed air is applied to the filter to powerfully remove any dust that has accumulated.
The automatic filter cleaning means that the filter does not easily become clogged, which makes long-term use without maintenance possible and gives the filter a long life.

Compressed air is blown into the bags and the internal pressure stretches out the creases and blows off any accumulated particles.
With this process there is a risk of scratching, the filter holes opening up or the bag falling.
